Days 8 and 9 -- Welcome Hut, Copland Valley
It rained the entire 8th day and on and off during the 9th. Other than a short dip in the hot pools, I spent most
of the day reading and playing cards with the other people staying in Welcome Hut. Luckly, there was a long enough pause
in the rain early on the 9th day to allow the rivers to drop enough for us to cross or we would have had to stay for another
day.
